Jen graduated with a degree in Geology from the University of Southampton in 2014 before completing a Masters degree in Biodiversity and Conservation the following year.
She joined the team in 2021 after several years working for both private ecological consultancies and as part of Hampshire County Council's ecology team.
Jen manages small to medium scale projects as well as preparing reports and producing maps and plans using GIS. She is an experienced field surveyor, regularly carrying out ecological impact assessments and subsequent species-specific surveys.
Since joining ECOSA, Jen continues to gain experience in ecological consultancy and expand her botanical and bat identification skills. She holds a Level 1 great crested newt licence.
Outside of work, Jen is a keen musician and enjoys writing music, singing, playing drums and guitar and more recently learning the trumpet! She also enjoys travelling, hiking and growing veg in her home allotment.
