ECOSA meets construction professionals at Constructionline event

08 November 2016

On 18th October 2016, Twickenham Stadium welcomed hundreds of construction industry professionals to the Constructionline Meet the Buyer Event. Constructionline is the UK’s largest procurement and supply chain management service for the construction industry, its members having undergone thorough and rigorous checks in order to become certified suppliers.

As fully certified members of Constructionline, ECOSA demonstrates our credibility as providers of ecological survey and assessment services to the construction industry.

Samantha Munslow, Company Manager and Principal Ecologist, talked to construction industry professionals about the services that ECOSA can provide during the planning process, construction period and post-construction.

Sam was keen to remind existing clients, and to promote to new clients, the following services offered by ECOSA:

  • Preliminary Ecological Appraisals
  • Ecological Impact Assessments
  • Habitat Regulations Assessments
  • Habitat and botanical surveys
  • Species surveys (including all protected species, wintering and breeding birds, and invertebrates)
  • Protected species licence applications and mitigation, including Low Impact Class licences for bats
  • BREEAM and CSH assessments
  • Biodiversity enhancements and mitigation solutions
  • Ecological contracting services such as fencing, vegetation clearance and habitat management

We also offer free, tailored Continuing Professional Development (CPD) talks to inform clients on topics pertaining to ecology in the planning process and in construction which can count towards CPD.
