New Natural England wildlife licensing policies

The consultation outcome report in to new wildlife licensing policies for European Protected Species has now been published. Adoption of these new policies is intended to smooth the application process for wildlife (protected species) licences for development projects, and provide greater security for protected species populations. The policy has been specifically targeted at great crested newt, although it applies to all European Protected Species including hazel dormouse and all bats species.
