We are always pleased to hear from ecological field surveyors who would be able to assist with our project delivery over our busy summer survey season. We generally have ongoing projects requiring both survey work and translocation of a variety of protected species, including reptiles, great crested newt and hazel dormouse.
Full training from experienced ecologists will be provided. We look for a high standard of work and competence in producing clear and thorough results. Applications from experienced ecological field surveyors and freelance ecological subcontractors are also welcomed.
Work will likely be based around our offices in Hampshire and Gloucestershire, and the surrounding counties. You will need to be able to travel for survey/translocation works, and potentially stay in accommodation overnight. Having your own transport and a full driving licence is therefore essential.
Please email your Curriculum Vitae, ensuring to highlight all relevant knowledge, experience and skills, and a covering letter with your likely availability during the summer survey season, for the attention of Anita Mackley (Office Manager) at email@example.com.
Please let us know how you found out about this opportunity and title your email in the subject line 'Summer Field Surveyors'.
Suitable candidates will be added to our database of ecological field surveyors for upcoming projects over the summer survey season.
